Nigerian activist, Aisha Yesufu, has slammed members of the All Progressive Congress (APC), in the United Kingdom who praying for President Muhammadu Buhari’s well-being.
President Buhari had travelled to London for medical treatment and is not expected back in the country until the second week in April
A former presidential aide, Reno Omokri,had led a number of Nigerians in Diaspora to the Abuja House in London to put President Muhammadu Buhari under house arrest.
Subsequently, some supporters of President Buhari on Monday stormed the Nigerian House in London, the United Kingdom to show solidarity and support for his administration.
We understands that the president’s supporters were seen holding placards with inscriptions praying for Buhari’s well-being. Reacting to the Pro-Buharist, Yesufu in a post on her Twitter account on Tuesday, April 6 berated the APC supporters.
She noted that the president did not travel to the UK for prayers but to treat himself at a hospital built by his contemporaries. The activist said the healthcare system which is used to treat the president in the UK were not built by prayers but by using brains plus doses of empathy.
She tweeted: “Buhari did not go to the UK for prayers. He went for medical treatment & he is getting it from the healthcare system built by people like him in their country. The healthcare system wasn’t built by prayers but by using the greatest miracle God gave humans: BRAINS plus a dose of empathy.”
