The Nigerian Centre For Disease Control Agency has emphasized that COVID-19 tests conducted within its molecular laboratories across the country are free.

This was stated in a tweet via the agency’s official Twitter handle on Sunday, August 2.

If you exhibit any relevant symptom of Covid-19 and want to get tested, the test is free, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

The NCDC noted that scale-up of testing is key in assessing the nation’s COVID-19 situation and coordinating response across the country.

Currently, there are 61 testing facilities under the control of the NCDC. They are located in 30 states across the country and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
