Don’t make me cut my hair too, Burna Boy warns those criticizing shaved beard

Grammy award-winning singer, Burna Boy, has warned those who have taken to social media to show their displeasure over his shaved beard.

On Friday, October 22, Burna Boy had unveiled a whole new look as he shaved off his signature beard.

According to the “Twice as Tall” star singer, with his beard completely shaved off, he now looked his age.

“Odogwu’s” new look generated several reactions from fans and other social media users, most of whom criticised his decision to take off his beards.

Reacting to social media’s criticism of his new look, Burna Boy expressed love for the concerned lot but warned them not to push him to cutting his hair too.

Although he explained that it is alright if they love him for his hair or his material possessions, however, he urged them not to build their lives on conditional love but on family, loyalty, talent, and God.

The “Twice as Tall” singer wrote: “I love you all Too! But don’t make me cut the hair on my head as well. If you love me for my hair Or my beard or some shit I bought with money. Then that’s great but anybody can grow hair and buy shit.

“Don’t build your life on conditional love. Build on family, build on those who have shown no sign of potential, disloyalty. Build on talent, build on God.”
